Stand Up Paddleboard and Kayak Event

Stone Sailing Club are hosting the first of a series of social paddles for Stand Up paddleboards and Kayaks on Saturday 30th April, starting from the club at 12 noon. All kayaks and paddleboards will be welocme at the event. The plan is to paddle up to and around Osea Island and then return to the club. The event is being held in conjunction with East of England Paddlesports (EOEPS) and is being kindly sponsored by Allthread Plastics Ltd. The event is free for all SSC and EOEPS members and is just £5 for for guests and any paddlers who are not members of either organisation. There will be an SSC safety boat following the fleet and EOEPS have also arranged for the Essex Marine Police to be in attendance. The bar at SSC will be open from 3pm for returning paddlers to have some refreshments and swap tales from the event. There is free parking available in the club car park. The event is of course, weather dependant.

Every paddler planning to attend must register in advance here, non members and guests can also pay their £5 entry fee, which must be done in advance of the event.

Stone SC and EOEPS are proud to join together to host this event, so why not come along and have some fun.
