Racing

The Stone SC sailing season is split into three main points series - Spring, Summer & Autumn, all sailed on a Sunday. The Polar series starts in the autumn, after the main season has finished, again sailed on a Sunday and finishing in mid December. Throughout the main season, two races each Sunday are sailed, in the main back to back, with 75% of races sailed to count.

The SSC trophy races are sailed separately and do not count towards the main series. Races start and finish on the whole are mass starts from the club line and are sailed around the club racing marks.

We also have a summer Thursday evening series (1 race per night) which runs from May to July. The Windward Tack is a Saturday series, sailed over 4-5 selected Saturdays during the season.
