Duty Roster 2026

As you will all know, our weekly sailing relies on volunteers for both the bridge and the safety boats. Thanks to Wendy and her team of race officers and bridge crews, race management for the majority of 2026 club sailing is already covered. What we rely on the rest of the membership for, is safety boat cover. Without volunteers, racing simply cannot go ahead. Every sailing member is expected to volunteer for (a minimum of) two duties at some point in the coming season. This can be for safety boat cover for either club racing or open meetings, or it could be as committee boat crew for open events.

You can choose which duties you wish to do, by logging onto your portal on this website, then clicking on Volunteering, and then Duty Roster. Here you can see all of the available duties and dates and choose which ones suit you best. You will then get an email reminder shortly before your duty date. With the first weekend of the season only a couple of weeks away, volunteers for the first few weekends would be especially appreciated. You have until the end of April to choose your dates, after that, you will be allocated two dates at random. So get in now and secure the duty dates that suit you. Please remember that during the season, if you cannot make your duty for any reason, it is your responsibility to arrange a swap.
