Stone Sailing Club is a membership-based club, that encourages all of its participants to take part in the life of the club. The club is entirely run and managed by volunteers and every member contributes to the overall well running and ambience of the club and it's activities.
To ensure everyone can get the most out of the club, it is organised and managed in a professional manner, using modern technology systems where appropriate.
Like all clubs, we do have a set of official rules.
Subscription and Fees
The club membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December.
Every year, existing members benefit from an annual discounted prompt renewal payment. Existing members from 2020 enjoyed a one-off Covid19 discount on their 2021 membership fees.
Throughout 2021 ALL new members will benefit from a reduced membership fee structure. Membership fees will be charged on a pro rata basis, for the number of months left in 2021 (including the current month), minus an extra 10% discount. You will pay no additional joining fees.

Moorings and Boat Storage
There is storage for dinghies on the hard standing in front of the Club, for which annual fees are payable. In addition, there are a very limited number of swinging moorings on the River Blackwater for Squibs and cruisers (fees payable). Limited winter storage is available ashore (fees depending on size of boat).
