Bud's Bash

On Sunday 17th September, we have a new club trophy to race for. It is called Bud's Cup and will be raced for in memory of long time former member Bud Winter. Bud was a member of the club from the early seventies until around the year 2000. Sadly he passed away during the Covid pandemic after being unwell for some time. His wife Fiona has donated Bud's Cup in his memory and as there appears to be no Bart's Bash this year, we will present the trophy for Bud's Bash. Two races back to back, first start 11am, both races to count. Mass start, all classes welcome. It would be great to see as many boats as possible on the water, to remember Bud and celebrate his life.
