Welcome to Stone Sailing Club
Formed in 1949, Stone Sailing Club is located on the south shore of the Blackwater estuary and is a friendly and vibrant club. A wide variety of boats are sailed and raced at Stone SC, including dinghies, cats, keelboats, cruisers, windsurfers and cadet classes. The club offers racing from late March until mid December and has the great advantage of being able to launch from the beach at all states of the tide.
Stone Sailing Club regularly hosts open meetings and championships for all manner of dinghy, catamaran and keel boat classes. In the past three years we have hosted successful national championships for classes including Snipe, Shearwater, Streaker, RS600, Hurricane 5.9 SX and Blaze. The 2025 season will see us holding national championships for the Kestrel, Signet, K6, Dart 18 and Low Rider Moth classes.
