Welcome to Stone Sailing Club

Formed in 1949, we are proud to be celebrating our 75th anniversary in 2024. A series of races that will form the 75th Anniversary Grand Prix are planned throughout the season, along with a club reunion, all day social event in July and a dedicated weekend of racing over the August bank holiday.

Stone Sailing Club is located on the south shore of the Blackwater estuary and is a friendly and vibrant club. A wide variety of boats are sailed and raced at Stone SC, including dinghies, cats, keelboats, cruisers, windsurfers and cadet classes. The club offers racing from late March until mid December and has the great advantage of being able to launch from the beach at all states of the tide.
